| From the Skye Bridge, follow the A87 to Portree. From Portree continue on the A87 following the signs for Uig. When you arrive in Uig you will see signs for Staffin / Kilmuir - turn right onto the A855 - after the hairpin bend keep left and take the road signposted Kilmuir. Follow this road for about 5 miles through the townships of Linicro, Balgown and Kilvaxter. Just a short distance further on you will see Bornesketaig signposted and then Camus More both on your left. Take the Camus More road and follow the minor road down and you will see the distinctive turf roof of Tawman's Cottage on your left. |
